James Bowen a drug addict found the injured cat and the therapeutic affect of nursing it back to health encouraged him to kick the habit.His story was told in a film The night I saw him in London's West End there were a number of people spray painted gold or silver pretending to be statues. Passers by were interested in the cat but not the 'statues.' One became very angry and abusive with James which explains the bemused expression on his face and the 'Watch it mate' on the cats,
